At Berean, we truly appreciate our senior members as they contribute their time to the various aspects of the overall ministry. There is ample opportunity for our older members to take an active part in all that is accomplished throughout each week. Many of our seniors have been at BBC for years or decades and have witnessed the many lives impacted by the gospel ministry.
As a means of enjoyable fellowship, our seniors have organized time together at local Coney Island restaurants. These are great opportunities to connect with one another as well as newcomers to the ministry in Belleville. Much of what transpires in our church setting is a legacy from these faithful members and their valued contributions over many years at Berean.
When you visit us at Berean you will find many of our older members fully engaged in the ministry of our church. And yet you will also find our senior saints standing back and appreciating the younger generation’s contributions to the overall ministry of the church. Dinners and other special events hosted at the church are tremendous opportunities to see each generation coming together in meaningful fellowship at Berean.
It is our wish to minister to the needs and challenges of our older members as they experience the issues that come with maturing years. We would encourage you to visit us soon and find out for yourself the part our senior members take in the ministry here.
